Over the years, VWF has grown into a world-class event, hosting past editions at respected venues such as Granville Island’s Performance Works and the Vancouver Convention Centre. After a short pause in 2019 due to Suzette Laqua’s health, Vancouver Web Fest made its exciting return in 2025 under new management. Filmmaker and entrepreneur Dominik Bari now leads the festival as Operational Manager, bringing fresh vision and dedication to its legacy of celebrating and elevating digital storytelling.
With fresh vision and renewed energy, Dominik has revitalized Vancouver Web Fest, expanding its reach and impact within the ever-evolving digital entertainment landscape.
